Has anyone ordered a bimini from this site

Hey Guys and Gals,

I just got a quote from a local canvas shop for a new bimini and it is several hundred dollars higher than the one listed for my boat on this site. Both are stainless with sunbrella covering. I have ordered and received a premeasured main sail cover from here and am very pleased with it. It was actually made at a canvas shop within my state. Has anyone ordered a bimini from here? And, if so, what has been your experience.

Thanks,
Bill

Perfect fit. The price was right. My model mounted entirely to the stern rail with rigid tubing. No straps required, so it's plenty strong. Going on 5 years.

Can't say much more except those swine birds like it too. :cussing:

Allan, Thanks for the feedback. It is reassuring to know you have had it for five years and still have such a good review. I am leaning towards ordering mine from here. I am trying to find a way to not have them put a window in it. But that is not a deal breaker :)

I've bought 3 from this site. Two for my H29.5 (stainless steel frames) and one for my H23.5 (aluminum frame). All good quality. They were the pre-measured ones for my boats and fit correctly.

I'm in the market for bimini top too. I don't see a premeasured one for my 79 H30 though. Maybe because of the split backstay that would go through it. Anyone buy one here for a Cherubini H30? I have gotten fairly good with my sewing machine so would sew the backstay slot zippers myself when I figure where they would go (mast is down now)

Consider additional costs

Did the local shop quote include installation and mounting hardware? How about shipping costs from a distant shop?

Kito, I'm not sure why they wouldn't have one for the '79 30. They have one for my ,79 33 and it has the split backstay as well.

Jim R, The local shops price did include hardware and mounting labor. That vs shipping is a consideration with who I go with.

Tom L, Thanks for the feed back. I have heard nothing negative about their premeasured tops. I bought the premeasured mainsail cover and have nothing but good things to say about it.

Phil, thanks

I posted a topic a while back asking if the H33 top would fit the H30. No H30 listed and a H33 won't fit.

I haven't ordered a bimini yet, but everything I have ordered from here so far has been just as described and the shipping has been quick.

Yeah, we don't have a pattern for the Cherubini 30... which is crazy. If someone wants to work with us on that, we'll give you a good deal on the bimini. Just PM me.

Very happy with ours

We've had one from this site for our '77 h27 about 12 years, and it's still looking great.

The also did a custom shade cover (of my design) that ties into their Bimini while we are at anchor/at the dock.

An excellent value!
