I've got a bimini that covers most all the cockpit on my sailboat. Along the rear section it has a screen that snaps to the bimini and hangs down to below the coaming, inside the rail. I'd like to finish this screening along the sides and across, where the windshield would be.Bascially, I'm looking to enclose the cockpit with screen. Has anyone ever had this done? Any help would be appreciated. Keep it up, Ctskip

Yep...

my 37.5 came to me with a full enclosure for the cockpit. It also has screen panels for the enclosure that fully envelopes the cockpit with screen. what do you want to know?

Screen scene seen in Auzzie

Hi Skip,Yeah mate, seen 'em in Austrailia; lotta flys, mosquitos (dingy fever), & no-see's down under. I put in screens with the nylon material and velcro on my schooner and was cheap but some time. YOu can do it, but as soon as someone comes into the cockpit they will be inside, that IS the problem. Burn a citrenella candle in the cockpit, but keep it in a safe place as cankles do cause fires.

Screen Enclosure

My wife got a roll of screen at Home Depot. We sewed the panels together Weighted the edges with small s/s chain. We just put it over the Bimini . Works really well and is up in seconds. Roll it up and stow. It’s like having a screen in porch.
