Can anyone provide me with a good expoloded diagram and/or useful instructions on taking apart a Harken roller furling? I don't know the model, but it's a basic drum design on a 33' Hunter. It's about fifteen years old. I want to replace my forestay because it's the only standing rigging I haven't changed as of yet.I started to take it apart, but a rod goes up into the foil (I don't know how far). The screws that hold the lower foil ( the section beneath the bolt rope slots) are frozen in place, so before I go nuts on them I figured I should ask for some advice. Will that rod slide out if I work on those screws? If not, I'll just leave it together and replace the whole d#*n thing next year. Where does the rod end and the forestay begin? Is the rod is 90% or so of the total length of the forestay? Thanks in advance
