We've recently acquired a 1976 Catalina 27 (outboard motor version). the PO (previous owner) started to refurbish her, and then decided to walk away, leaving the marina with the boat and title. We got her for a song, but of course she needs work.
the PO removed a lot of the teak from both topside and cabin. perhaps he was planning to paint, I don't know. The teak we have, and its in good shape, but I have no idea where the mounting hardware is.
So, any advice on screw length/type? machine screws or wood?
Another thing on my to-do list is the water line from the fresh water tank to the sink looks like its been cut and a spliced with a plastic coupler, which has failed. any idea the diameter of the coupler I should get?
