Hi everyone,
I want to fabricate the hard windshield for my beneteau 40 cc 1996. I would like if someone have one I can get in touch for details . photos and measurements¡¡

For a job of this size and expense, I wouldn't want to use the measurements someone else's boat.

To date, having replaced the opening hatch lenses on our boat, I would suggest removing the fixed portlight in one piece and then using it as a template to fabricate a new one using a router template bit. Use double sided tape between the original and your work to hold things in place while you're routering.

You'll want to check the archives here for details on this project as it's verrrrrrrry detail oriented. Not too, too difficult from what I've seen to date just lots of parts. I've been collecting details on this project for the last few years getting ready to launch into the first fixed portlight replacement project and think I've finally developed a plan.
