Hard dinghy dock storage

We have a Walker Bay 8. Currently it is stored on the foredeck of our 34 ft'er. It covers the foredeck hatch which presents a problem as we have a Nicro solar vent installed in the foredeck hatch which now receives next to no light thus does not charge. Our marina, like most, does not allow dock dinghy storage. The dinghy racks are a long walk from our boat. Some folks have built racks that fit in front of their boats for their inflatables. To get our dinghy off the foredeck while we are in the slip but not keep it in the water I am think about building something similiar for the Walker Bay. Has anyone ever seen such a rack for a hard dinghy? Thanks! David

Prefer not

Due to the increase in overall boat length thus increase in slip costs. Plus the cost of the davits :( One sugestion I have is to stand the dinghy against the mast on its stern on the foredeck. Put it back on the deck or tow it when underway.
