Happy New Years to everyone. I'm usually on the East Coast, but right now, Salt Lake City. Going skiing up in Alta today, oops, tomorrow. I told you I'm usually on the East Coast, dadgum time zones :D

I echo the "Happy New Year" also.

May 2009 be much better than 2008 (that might not be that difficult), and may we all be thankful that we live in a free country without the daily strife that is ever-present in many other countries of the world.

Here's to a great sailing season this year after the temperature improves from the +4 F that I have outside right now. I hate it when I have to shovel the snow off my deck before I can raise the sails.....

And lastly, thanks to Phil and all the capable crew and moderators of this board for providing our sailing community a great place to connect.
