Happy Be-lated Fathers Day

Spent the morning having breakfast and coffee with the family and then they let me enjoy being on the boat, since we had to leave early and could not get out sailing .... scrubbed the bilge and polished the cabin. Two jobs that have been nagging at me for a while but needed ( wanted) to get completed before we head out for family holidays first week of July.
BTW, how's the boat hunt coming ... any closer to having your own??

spent the day with my wife and two boys on the boat. My youngest son,15 really got into raising the sails and sitting up on the bow. My older son, 17 laid down below in the v berth and text his friends. He helped a little. I enjoyed it when we were heeling at 30 and he almost lost his cell phone! next time, no cell phones except for mine in case of an emergency. Happy Fathers day to all!! Mac

If all goes well hubby and Nice N Easy are flying down to go inspect her, sea trial her and sail her home from Fort Myers to Biloxi this weekend. We are excited. We overlooked this one many times because we never thought we'd have a shot at this kind of a boat. He was very tough to negotiate with but I would be too had I owned this boat for such a long time as he did and babied her.I hope this is the one. Keep your fingers crossed for us. Want that empty boat slip to not be empty anymore.

You'll find the extra $$$ spent on a well cared for boat will save you many, many $$$ in the long run. I can't tell you how much time and money we've spent on just minor mantainance items on a 2 year old boat that was not looked after at all. Hope it all comes together for you.
