I have a couple of things that I want to hang. What have you done that minimizes damages to the teak bulkheads and that still still makes the pictures secure? I hate the thought of pounding nails into the teak. John Richard s/v Jack's Place

velcro

I hand lots of things with velcro. Get the heavy duty stuff, and it stays forever. One of the things I have used it on is an inlaid wooden image of a tall ship in a wooden frame. It has stayed put for fourteen years!

Ditto, Velcro for hanging...

..all the pictures and 'stuff'. Also for wife's stuff on counters, etc. Get the heavy-duty variety at hardware stores. Make sure it says heavy duty on it. Two sided carpet tape works for some light applications, but not most. Agree, no nails. Rick D.

Ditto on the velcro

There is a variety that is used on aircraft that holds very well. I obtained it from a friend that works for an airline. Not sure where else to get it. I would imagine the heavy duty velcro is essentially the same thing...

Mega dittos on the velcro...

be careful with holes (anywhere) in your boat. A previous owner throught he was handy with a drill, now I get to fix the leaks!

Cell Phones Too

Was tired of having my cell phone plugged into the DC adapter plug and lying around. Put a big piece of velcro on the back and one up high enough above the nav. station so I can still get into the drawer. Just like a phone on the wall at home. Works great.
