I had an incredible weekend. A bunch of us from Dahlgren, Colonial Beach, and Cobb Island sailed to Canoe Neck Creek and rafted up for the night. It was an incredible trip with nice wind, great company, excellent sailing, and awesome weather. I met some new people there and also got to hang out with new friends. Jim from Java was at the raft up and I really enjoyed meeting him and hanging out with Java (Beautiful boat too).
The next time I plan one of these trips and try to set up a raft up on the Potomac I am going to post it on here so that we can get other people from the area to participate. The more the marrier!
One other thing that I have to bring up. It is a neat experience meeting up with and hanging out with other sailors/cruisers. I have to say that cruisers are the best people around because they are always willing to share information, friendship, and even food (the food at the raft up was amazing too). Here's one that goes out to all the sailors and cruisers around...Cheers!
