Handling Spider Cracks (That Can't Be Seen)

Hello. I took the bow plate off to prepare for a backer plate in the forward berth and it revealed a few spider cracks. The cracks extend slightly beyond the bow plate once it is placed back, and I intend to handle the portion that extends beyond the bow plate with a grind out and new gelcoat. However I want to get this boat back in the water soon so I don't want to go full bore on the grind out/ new gelcoat on the portion under the bow plate where it will never be seen. Is there something I can put in the crack after I grind it out a little that doesn't have to be pretty and will fill the gap? Perhaps Marine-Tex?

I've used Magicezy many times and it works excellent. no grind out required, as it flows into the crack and looks very good. level the surface per instructions, as once it hardens it's virtually impossible to sand.

Yup, very good cosmetic results. Just remember that there is no structural value, so make sure you know what caused the cracks.
