Hand Signal Resource??

Are there any resources available with standardized hand signals for communicating from bow to helmsperson??My first-mate and I are having some problems with this type of communication and are reverting to some primitive hand gestures that may or may not be interpreted as being obscene.Have people had any luck with the new FRS Units utilizing headsets??Thanks,Charlie"Good Medicine"

Using a headset 'walkie-talkie'

We faced the same problem of communication to/from bow/cockpit. We saw a recommendation, and followed up on it. We bought a pair of headset walkie-talkies for about $20. They are intended for kids to play with, but they work just fine for the distance involved and leave both hands free for boat handling tasks. They are quite clear.Dick Carey
