I would make Spinnaker halyard be about 5-8 feet longer than the others if you set up from the bow. If you have a sock and set-up at the mast, then same length as others.
FIRST OF ALL, ON A JIB HALYARD, YOUR LUFF IS 37.5FT., THE THE MAST, 36FT, NOW YOU WANT TO REACH THE AFT CABIN, ANOTHER 10 FT, AND YOU WANT TO HAVE SOMETHING TO GRAB IN THE COCKPIT, ADD ANOTHER 5FT.TOTAL 90 FT. WOULD DO, NOT 72 FT.(2X MAST) MAIN: 2X36FT. + 10+5=90 FT WILL DO, I NEVER DEALT WITH A SPINNICKER SO NO DATA.
Tom, please read my first post completely. Not knowing mast height or luff, I suggested twice the mast height (you say 36FT) + distance from mast to cockpit (you say 10 feet) + another 8 to 10 feet (and you suggest 5 feet). My total calculation then is:(36 X 2)+ 10 + 10 = 92 feetYour post shows 2X36FT + 10 + 5 = 90FtNot to start a fight here, but where I went to school 2X36 + 10 + 5 = 87.Check it out, and you'll conclude with me that my suggestion is good. And it has worked on every boat I've been on !
