halyards inside the mast?

Has anyone done it? I am planning to run all lines aft and I am guessing that this would be the perfect time to route them down through the mast. Is there anything that I should know before attemping this? Do you have to have a certain type of setup on top to get them to feed right? Your comments are greatly appreciated!

Internal halyards

Hi Seth -All you need for running internal halyards are sheaves at the top for each halyard, exits at the base of the mast (deck level) with sheaves, and some way to snag the chase line with a weight as it dangles inside the mast. Then run the halyards through deck organizers with fair leads to winches (toptional) and subsequent cleats. This project may or may not be worth it depending on what your current set up is and what you want to accomplish.Hope this helps,Trevor
