What size halyard used be used to replace main, jib and topping lift. Previous owner may have replaced halyards with incorrect sizes. The previous owner has not used the boat for a while and the lines appear to quite weathered and exposed area show a far amount of mildew. Also, need further help on installation of deck cleats for primarily anchoring. Stern cleats are easy enough, however I am still perplexed with the bow cleats. My 1990 H23 has no cleats what so ever! Not sure how the previous owner sailed to the Channel Islands off of Santa Barbara and anchored. Forward cleats could be placed aft of the anchor locker but that would place then quite far aft of the bow. Is this a problem ? There is not enough room forward of the locker to place the cleats. Backing can not be accessed in this area. The deck area lateral of the locker likewise does not seem to have access to provide adequate backing. The locker seems to butt up to the edge of the hull in this area. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Alex
