Check out Good Old Boat magazine this month... I had my first article published on how I built my radar tower. I have a followup article in the next issue on how I built my own Nav Pod to house the chart plotter at the helm. The folks at GOB are great and we need to support magazines like that and websites like this one, that appeal to the regular people with similar passions.

There's an Arabic version, I have to read it right to left? Oh well, maybe Border's will have the English. Can't wait to read it. I have never seen a copy of "Living Aboard".

That's right, I'm sitting in the middle of the Arabian Desert right now wishing for snow! Actually, my photo booth camera on the computer always takes the picture backward and I forgot to flip it...oh well.
Tim, I've never heard of Living Aboard either, I'll look it up.

It is part of Lats and Atts. http://www.livingaboard.com/default.htm

It has a great forum and is a nice resource for those of us living aboard and also very nice for those contemplating the lifestyle. It is a mixture of stinkpot and blowboats and we seem to get along pretty good. Even the stinkpotters have some good ideas;)

Danny-
Congratulations!!! I am so excited and I'll be sure to pick up a copy of the mag. I was at Hooper's last week picking up paint and had it in my hand but forget to buy it. Anyway, I don't suppose you have ever noticed who the Tshirt model has been for the blue Tshirt this last year or so?

Was that you real hair?! Too funny!
No, it wasn't. When Karen asked me to model I suggested using the wig and she liked the look so we went with it. Can't wait to read your article. I remember when I was getting ready to put the stern mount pole on Emmanuel for the radome you gave me some good advice because you were just finishing your install. It was a lot of help.

Anyway, now I owe you two beers-one for congrats and one for the transducer. Definately have to meet up at the Bayfield Inn!
