H450 Owners- where is Aft waste tank vent line to tank access?

Before I rip up floor boards and toe trim that is screwed with plugs hiding the screws- I need to clear aft head vent line at both thru hull and waste tank. I cannot find a service opening to the spot the vent line enters the tank. Help before I destroy my boat.

Have you downloaded the 450 manual? I looked over the PDF version and did not find what I was looking for. It won't show an access , but perhaps you could clear it by another method. I assume that you have determined it is blocked. While you can do a definitive clean up by removing the tube a serious dismantling might be less than enticing.

You should be able to find the thru-hull, by process of elimination if no other way...by locating one at a time on the hull and tracing the line attached to it back to its tank. They'll all be small, high on the hull, and may all look alike. Or maybe by just sniffing each one. Clean it out from the outside....then try shooting water down it in hope of clearing the other end.

You really do need access to the tank, 'cuz sooner or later you'll have to replace the hoses...so I'd talk to the yard about installing a nice hatch in that bulkhead. The only reason boat builders don't install hatches 'cuz it's an added expense they can get away with avoiding.

Manual isn't any help. I found the sending unit and have it on good authority that I can loosen that enough to create a temp vent to pump out tank before tackling the clogged vent pipe. That is my plan.
As to access to the tank end of the vent, it has to be under the flooring which will take destruction to access.
