h430 - frig too cold and too loud

first, thanks for a great group and tons of outstanding information. i've been "lurking" reading/learning all i can since purchasing a '95 h430.i just purchased a '95 h430 and love it. i've noticed that the frig is louder than i expected and it gets too cold. also, it appears to be pulling a ton of power. it has the little giant pump (#581503) which has an AC motor. anyone with this problem? fixes? i'd like to make it run quieter, draw less power, and manage the temp better.thanks in advance...ken

check the freon level. If you are low on freon refrig gets to cold.

I've got an A/B Coldmachine that also gets too cold and I have to keep it on the warmest setting.And like Ken, my system uses a lot of power- about 75AH of power everyday AFTER it has stabilized temperature. It is fairly quiet though, all of the noise seems to be the cooling fans.What is the basis of your statement that a low freon charge will cause the system to run too cold?
