I'd like to know if the early to mid 90's Passage 42's had a rudder with a composite stock, or did it use stainless steel. Anyone with a 42 Passage who can enlighten me? Thanks!
Eddie Breedon @ customer service at Hunter could most likely confirm when they moved over to composite stock- my '91 has a SS stock- I have a feeling it changed in '94 or 95
...according to the manual, our 40.5's have a composite shaft but at least several have stainless. Not sure if it was a running change or if the composite design never happened until the 410. I guess the point is that you can check with Hunter but I would still not make an assumption. See this thread: http://forums.hunter.sailboatowners.com/showthread.php?t=158350
