H41AC - Running Wires Above Headliner

On my 2007 H41AC the ST60 depth and speed devices are mounted in the cowl above the companionway. By lifting that cowl, I can see that the three wires for those two devices (one SeaTalk wire and two transducer wires) go through the cabin top fiberglass just forward and to starboard of the companionway. In the cabin, the ceiling corresponding to where those wires come through is the soft leather-like headliner. I can see where the three wires for the two ST60 devices run from the void behind the AC and DC panels, up the wall to the ceiling but I can't determine for certain where they go from there before ending up under the cowl.

In the attached photos, the first one shows the three wires (thin black) coming up from the space behind the AC panel and disappearing behind a molded plastic trim panel. That trim panel is shown in the second photo. I have been able to partially remove the trim panel and confirm that those three wires dissapear into the ceiling above the headliner. The wall in the photo is the forward wall of the aft head.

I would like to run power and ground wires along this same path for another device mounted on the cowl. Does anyone know how the headliner is attached and how difficult it is to remove and put back into place? Any other clues as to how to proceed?

Have you tried using a thin flexible wire as a snake in either of the two areas you can see where the wires exit from under the cowl or appear in the boat?
On my 340, I did manage to snake a wire through the headliner for a new coaxial cable when I replaced my VHF. According to my manual there is a 2 inch PVC wire chase up there. Now this was not without a great deal of effort, but it is doable.
I would try this method before removing your headliner and be faced with getting back in place evenly.
