The bulb arrived on Friday and I installed it over the weekend. It was a snap and it took about 15 minutes. I was concerned about how difficult it might be to remove the old sealed beam. It was easy; there are two plastic retaining tabs at 9 and 3 o'clock that are easily pushed aside and the unit pops out held by the two wire pigtails. They are easy to remove and re-attach on the new bulb which then just pops in place. No special tools are needed. The old unit had slot screws for the pigtails but the new one had philips.
