H38 Headsail size

I'm in the process of purchasing a 2006 Hunter 38, it's missing the furling headsail. I understand the stock size is 115%, I'll be ordering something in the next week and wanted to reach out to see if anyone has experience with different size headsails and any recommendations. I'm in Florida and will be doing mainly coastal and Bahamas cruising.

The specifics on the Hunter 38 indicate it is a B&R rig with a fractional sail plan.

S.A. Fore:	281.89 ft² / 26.19 m²
S.A. Main:	420.85 ft² / 39.10 m²

Main sail is the powerhouse. A 115% foresail would make sense.

Add an asymmetrical for those balmy light wind days.

Th H38 shrouds go to the toe rail, so you cannot use an overlapping genoa, eg a 130%. The brochure I have (from 2007 maybe) says the standard foresail is a 110%. Your sailmaker should be able to advise.
