1. What size whisker pole should be used on a H356 ? Fixed length, telescoping- twist lock or line control ? 2. My 356 jib halyard exits the mast and drops straight down one foot to a fairlead then out to the top of the jib (roller furling). This system prevents me from getting much tension on the luff. Is every 356 rigged this way ? 3. The aft settee bulkhead (wood) opposite the freezer (factory installation) gets cold and wet when running the freezer. Is it poor insulation, leak, etc. ? 4. Anyone storing an eight foot fiberglass dinghy (Trinka, Fatty Knees, Boatex, etc.)on deck forward of the 356 mast ? Would like to hear comments about the specific dinghy and methods of getting it aboard. (I have a Redcrest inflatable. This would be a second dinghy. ) Appreciate any advice and suggestions. Freezer Leak

It sounds like your freezer is leaking. Check the seal, the hole where the coolant line come in and the drain. RRegge S/V Allie Kat

1. See link for everything Forespar wants you to know about whiskerpoles (they recommend line control poles for your size boat.) 2. Don't know if all 356's are rigged this way, but the purpose of the fairlead is usually to maintain a minimum of 5 to 10 degrees angle between the halyard and the stay. Without it, the halyard would wrap around the stay when operating the furler.
