No slack in the cable between the 30 amp connector! and, the panel.

Did Hunter use #10 wire?
best I can guess it's number 12 (but it shouldn't be)
I'll probably change the wire from the panel to the connecting Inlet with number 10/3 Marine cable and a new plate connector to connect to the new connector on the end of my old cable because. of no slack I can't even get in there to disconnect and reconnect the wires to the inlet
