I was hoping someone could tell me what size rope I need to replace what is only Harken jib furler. Diameter and length would be great. Thank You!!!

I think each boat will have a different size furling line, depending on the furler, and where the line is led. Most h34's are old enough that the original furler has been replaced. Furlers were not standard even when the boats were new.

My old Harken furler is still fine. I use 5/16" line for the furler. Much smaller and it is really hard on hands.
Length is dependant on sail size.. going to be around two boat lengths plus a bit..

If you want to go to a larger diameter line for easier handling, you can use double brad and remove the core from the part that wraps around the furler in order to save space on the furling drum. That's my set up and it works great.

Ditto that ! I use 3/8 on my Pro-furl NC32. I have removed the core as charliegrau has done and it works great while being easier on the hands. A bonus is it is big enough that I can use the self-tailing winch if needed.

Like Claude & Charlie...

I replaced my furler line on my original Hyde furler drum with 3/8" StaSet, stripping the core out of the first 18 feet wrapped on the drum.
