Hunter 34 -
Attached is a photo from a 1980s-era Hunter 34 where the owner did a pretty incredible redesign of the galley. Can anyone identify this boat, provide any detail about the redesign, and share additional pictures (particularly of the table to the left, as it looks like that was redesigned as well)?

Thanks!

That is stunning and I am interested too as I plan to do some renos next winter. Where did he get the cabinet doors? This is what a 34 should look like. I plan to get rid of the plexi sliders all around the saloon and head sink. If anyone knows where I can source the doors, please let me know.

Thought about something similar for my boat, but I think almost any galley design has to provide for some kind of sliding cabinet doors for at least the first 10 or so inches above the countertop. Otherwise you have to take everything off the counter to open the cabinet. Hunter uses tinted plexi, but that's not really too attractive. I am working on a track system that will utilize a more traditional teak cabinet door frame with etched glass looking plastic inserts. I do like, and wish I had room for the big sink. I wonder if that is laminate or some kind of stone or composite? They now have really beautiful textured laminates [which require an edge] versus some kind of composite faux stone countertop [that can be coved]. The latter is more expensive, but more water and heat resistant than the laminate sheet material.
