Found this hard plastic item on my H 33. It is not square...it is more of a quadrangle..6 1/2 inches on one dimension, 7 inches on another. Holes slightly smaller than you'd want for a cup holder. Help!

I also have a H33, but I've looked all over and can't find the 'mystery" object. Am i missing something?
I'll also be awaiting an answer.

Of what material is it made? The hole edges look routed and smooth. Might hoses pass through it?

It seems to be a very hard plastic material I guess. Yes, the holes are very smooth and they are about 2 3/4" in diameter. Note that a flange has been attached to two edges with screws. Interestingly, there is just one hole for a mounting screw and it is such that the head of the screw will be sunk.

A guide for hoses is a good idea. This part is clean and not scratched up...may have never been used. I will look for a pair of hoses/pipes of an appropriate size.

It's the coffee cup holder. Ours is in the open area behind the stove.

It sure looks like the item! I tried my Hunter coffee cup in it. Sort of fits, but won't go down in it well. Does yours?

Looks like it's made from Corian, would it work to keep wine or rum bottles from "clanking" in the icebox or galley when in rough seas ?
Or maybe some kind of rack for 2 wine glasses ?

The Answer Stumped Me At First...

I have a 78C. These earlier boats did not come with a waterproof cupholder.

We had to find our own, convince her to come on board, and then determine how best to make her stay.

I eventually married mine!

It rarely gets used way it was supposed to, but I believe the cups fit in with the rubber ring attached.

Scott, you are right. Just a tight fit. Thanks for solving the mystery!

How do i get one?
Paul, are you asking how you can get one of these like I have? If you want this one you can have it. Send me a private message and I will mail it to you. You can just send me back a check for the shipping cost. I will be several weeks before I get back down to my boat however.
