I may be taking a trip in the next few days to Washington DC, and will be travelling by car
Any boats like mine so I can take pictures and see how mine should look like?

Search Owners

Under the tab "Owner Directory," choose "Search Owner Directory." Enter Hunter, then "33_77-83" in model, MD in state, and US in country. I found 14 owners in Maryland with this approach.

Then click on the owner name, and on the owner page click on contact info. You will then be able to send an email to the owner (although the email address is confidential) asking them directly where their boat is, and if you can visit.

You could then repeat the process for DC, and VA.

Good luck.

I have only had my 1978, 33', for a little over a year, but I have done a lot to it so far, and have been in almost every nook and cranny accessable.
Some of the things I have done is build a new companionway door and hatch that double lock from inside (dead bolts) and outside (keyed tumbler locks), refinished the wood and walls in the head, new toilet, completely removed two refer units and the compressor that were where the quarter berth should be, rebuilt the quarter berth, replaced hatch gaskets, some ports (still one to go).
Currently I am running a new mainsail halyard back to the cockpit with a new (to me, eBay) Lewmar #10 winch, refinishing exterior wood, adding GPS, VHF and depth finder to pedestal, new salon and quarter berth cushions, new carpet on all bulkheads.
Things left to finance are new sole, bottom job, exterior paint.
We love sailing in the Florida Keys and pray the oil stays away.

Would love some pictures
I removed the smelly carpet all around, including V berth, and replaced with aromatic cedar panels, 4 inches wide x 8 feet long, tongue in groove
I have a good contact here, the whole wood cost me about $100.00 and it made a big difference
I did not varnish the wood, so when you go down under, you get this great smell that also repels insects and all kinds of creepies

Jorge;

Travel the 3 additional hours up to Forked River New Jersey. I can show you more projects than you would ever want to do. I might even let you cook dinner for us.
