H31 sole removal???

I see this project in the near future....got a couple soft spots. Question.....does the whole cabinet that juts out on the forward side of the galley have to be removed? Also, it looks like the bulkhead forward of the head rests on the sole too. If anyone who's done this could give me some tips, it would be appreciated. Thanks......Gary

I think...

all that stuff has to come out. I was able to add a couple of supports under the sole. It was flexing under the table. It looks like I should get quite a few years now before I have to replace. I can send pics if you want to look.

Sole Removal

I was ab le to rdplace te sole on my 28.5 by cutting the sole lengthwise and then providing af ew streentgthening supports. The replacement has been in place for several years. Good Luck!!

Support posts

Installing a few support posts has gotten me through the last 3 years. Sorry no replacement advice. If you do rip it out, if you can, take some pictures.Thanks, good luckKurt

Thanks much. Wonder if anyone's installed a shower sump with lid and route all drain lines to it. This would keep the bilge dry and never rot the sole. Right???
