Thru bolt a pad eye on the fore deck
For a 2 to 1 purchase, tie off the bitter end of the line to the pad eye then thru a single block with a snap shackle. Snap the shackle to the pole harness, then lead the line back down to a turning block on the pad eye, then lead aft. This is the set up for by H37C with a 17 ft pole, and same for the pole topping lift. You may not need the 2 to 1 set up, if not then bitter end on a snap shackle to the pole harness and back down to a turning block on the padeye then aft.
