H31 Fiddle Block

Can someone tell what size line is on the main sheet traveler that runs around the fiddle block on a 84 H31. Not the blue line but the white line . My boat is in storage and shrinkwraped and I want to get a new fiddle block ordered. Also if you know the diameter of the top sheave it would be very helpful.

I would suspect that it is probably a 7/16" line, which is the same size I use on my H34.

As for the block size, I use Schaeffer 700 series blocks for sheets and halyard controls. 7/16" line should run through them easily without over stressing them.

As noted many times on this site, Garhauer makes great blocks and hardware at great prices (significantly less expensive than Harken & Schaeffer). Replaced all the original blocks on our '86 H31 several years ago.

my guess is it is 3/8 i have a 30 ft er and the specs call for 3/8 and that block in the pic is a Schrieffer block for sure

Aren't the sheaves on those blocks replaceable?
