Just thought I'd provide definitive information relative to the type SS used in the H280 rigging. The owners manual contradicts itself; the rigging table is followed by a statement that all wire is 1x19 - Type 316. Yet, in the rig tuning section, figures are given for tension that implies Type 302/304. I contacted Hunter re: this and they confirmed that the wire is Type 316 and that the breaking load for 7/32 is 5350 lb. Additionally, Loos was contacted to see if there is any appreciable difference in the readings one would get when measuring 302/304 vs 316 and was told by the engineer there that the readings of tension would not differ; just keep in mind that Type 316 has a little lower breaking strength.
