H280 fridge

Any H280 owner who converted the ice box into a fridge ? If so, what system have you used ans where have installed the compressor ?

I helped installed AB Cu100 with VD150 fridge to a friend's h280 sometime ago. I mounted the compressor in starboard compartment beneath the seat just ahead of the galley sink/icebox. Cut a hole about 12" x12" for the vent louvers. It serves as in/out vent. Fridge works very well as the compressor is just next to icebox, the coolant lines are easily routed.
Have to fabricate a simple platform to sit the compressor on the level.

Ditto on my H280. Don't recall the make but the compressor is under the starboard settee. Don't forget to turn it off while sailing. It can drain your house battery pretty fast.
