Per attached, somehow I busted my furler drum and need to replace. Can anyone confirm what type of furler this is and replacement options? 1985 Hunter 28.5. Thanks.

Cruising Designs Reefer II. I just gave my parts to another member here. The good news is you can replace just he drum on that one with a metal spool with real ball bearings. Reuse your existing foil.
What is the purpose of the upper plastic disk (the part that broke)?
My CDI furler has the same thing, and I was separating the drum to get the furling line out to wash it, and I was wondering what that part does....the furling line is contained in the lower 2 discs.
Curious minds want to know!
