H27 water tank removal

Hi gang, thinking of removing the forward water tank by cutting the remainder out to allow for a larger bladder tank as my current one sprung a leak. Curious to know if tank provides a significant amount of add stiffness to this area by the way it is glassed in there by it may be wise to leave much of it in place? Currently I have the top cut out about 20x20 and have a triangular 26 gal. bladder inside.

I would leave it as you have it. It may provide more stiffness and it makes a good space for your bladder.

I would leave it as is just to support the bladder which will weigh in excess of 150 lbs when full.
