H27 Rudder Replacement

I want to replace a leaking rudder on my wheel steering 1980 H27. It is on a lift so no problem that way. Foss Foam makes replacement. Problem is I can't free up the cable wheel assembly on the rudder shaft. Thinking of sawzall to cut rudder shaft in sections to allow removal. Any other ideas out there?

Old Faithful ATricks from Grandpa

Liquid Wrench or WD 40 sprayed every day or so for a week. If that doesn't do it, a little heat from a plumbers torch to the bolts and may work. (Keep a bucket of water near in case)
