h27 Rudder post Collar

The collar/bushing located on the top of the rudder post and which is visable just below the helm seat (See Pic) on the h27 is badly cracked and starting to crumble. I talked with Edson Marine and learned it is made of Delrin and is not available from them. Does anyone know who might supply this part?

In the middle of almost the same thing find a local machine shop and call them if they cannot help you they probably know who can should be getting my new one next week

Sure but I do not know yet, I need it so we will see I will post the cost as soon as I find out

I had mine made at the machine shop. Cost? I don't remember. Hopefully your collar is not frozen to the post like mine was.

Mine is in bad shape but I have not really looked into replacing it yet. Does it have to be the same material?

I had a local machine shop make one from Teflon stock which they had in the correct size outside dia. It was about 10 dollars. I made two so I would have a spare.
It has held up for about 5 years at this point.

Just picked up one from local machine shop - paid $75 made of delrin (black). Not overjoyed, but done!
