H27 motor mounts

I have a 1981 H27TM, It appears that my 1gm is from the 1980 model because it has engine and transmission. I have ordered mounts from 2 different suppliers, both were wrong. mine are not the rectangular type, but more of an oval shape and made of aluminum. Any ideas?

I have the same boat and was planning to replace my engine mounts. I have the exact same boat, engnine and engine mounts that you mention. May I ask what was wrong with the replacements and where you got them from?

I was looking at the mounts from Defender as well as the ones that Torresen Marine Supply stock. I am leaning towards Torrensen becasue from the look of the picture on their web site, the look exactly like the ones I already have. the ones i have orderded appear to be painted steel and are rectangular in shape. Mine are aluminum and oval in shape. I sent the others back, as the bolt patters and overall dimensions are different.

thanks tdudley.. the mounts shown at torrenson are correct and I have ordered one. I had been unable to find these anyere else.

No Problem. Now I know to stick with Torrensen for buying the ones I need. They have been great to deal with and tend to have eerything we need for classics like ours.
