H27 looking for wiring diagram for AC shore power

I have a 1980 H27 and never used the shore power. I just bought a cable on a whim and hooked it up. I have 115V at the back of the switch panel, but no juice at any of the 3 outlets. The back of the panel has 3 <somethings> connected together labelled Carling Switch, Inc. The center one of the 3 contains the AC on/off switch. Anyone have any experience with this? I'm not an electrical whiz by any means. Looking for a next step.
I searched the forum archive and was able to come up with a DC schematic, but nothing for the AC wiring. Pic below shows the top <something> at the right of the picture.
Suggestions?

That is one of the older arrangements that includes a breaker for the ground green wire. One handle operates all three breakers- hot /neutral/ ground. Over time, that green breaker was declared a no-no, as you never want to disrupt the ground circuit. Now, a dual breaker for AC hot and neutral is standard.

Thanks, Ron. Looks like time to do some shopping.

I'd still love to have an AC schematic if someone has one. Also, has anyone moved this panel to another location? Where'd you place it?

Thanks, Ggrizzard. Yup, that's basic. I was hoping for some detail about the wiring of the switch panel. Looks like a rat's nest to me.

I just replaced my whole system. I was able to use the old spot for a 110VAC outlet (port side over the nav. table) for the new panel.
I recommend removing the old and adding new if the finances permit.

Could one just disconnect the green wire and run it direct to ground without interruption?

Right, the green ac wire should be connected directly to the boats ground. Some people will install a galvanic isolator on the green wire so that stray electrons from other boats in the marina don't sneak on their boat. Probably not needed if you unplug from dock receptacle when away from the boat.

I too have an '80 27. Found that the main breaker was about shot. That it only conducted when turned on then backed off just a little. Very cranky and will replace one day.
Probably not much help.

If you can, run it directly to the engine block. If you ground it to the negative terminal on the battery, you could energize the dc negative side and throw 110 AC current into the water. (as far as I know).
Here is a very helpful article which was just revamped.
