Me again!! Anybody have any thoughts on the standard Vinyl Cushions versus the 'option' Fabric Cushions. Are the fabric worth the upgrade cost?, would it be cheaper to upgrade later? Again, any thoughts / ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Tommy

BottemSiders !!!

I just bought a set of BottemSider cushions for my cockpit.I highly recommend them.Ease of care and comfort won me over. And your bottem side doesn't slide all over when sailing.I know several sailors that have had them for ten years or more and they still look like new.Check them out.

Use?

I am assuming you are talking about interior cushions. Without a doubt the vinyl cushions will hold up better if you are using the boat as a daysailor and have a lot of sunblocker soaked kids with spilled soda etc. The vinyl is miserable to sleep on, hot and stickey. I would opt for the fabric, feels and looks better. If you can order without cushions at all, and get a good reduction in the boats price, you might want to consider aftermarket cushions with more fabric selection and better, thicker foam.
