Both of the handpump faucets have quit working. This is my 3rd season with the boat. Have others had this problem with the faucets? There is plenty of water in the fresh water tank and I checked the lines by syphoning and they are clear. The end of the faucet where it joins the water line has broken off. It seems that the pump still is causing suction but it just isn't working.

Mine never worked well so I replaced them with Fynspray. However, I belive the major reason people have problem with them is the fittings Hunter uses for this boat. You have to make sure the little rings on each side of the fitting is extended to properly seal the joint.

Faucets
I too had problems with the faucets on the 260. I could never get a continuous stream of water. It would spit and sputter and I got tired of pumping, so I installed a pump and new faucets. Having a pressurized system is very easy to do and doesn't cost too much.

Lousy faucets
John, Yes, I had the same problem in my 1997 h26. I replaced them both with good quality faucets from West Marine. I put a foot operated unit in the galley. Very handy. David, "Molly"
