Just getting around to putting the name on my boat. Trying to get an idea of what looks best. I want to put the name on the port and stbd sides (Jim Seemans "Java" looks neat) but trying to decide size of letters to order. Boats name is "Mistress" 4 inch letters work out to 21 inches 6 inch letters work out to 31 inches 8 inch letters work out to 41 inches Any opinions on what looks best on the H260? Jim if you are lurking, I'd like your opinion.

Lurking I'm Lurking

George, I'll have to call Crazy Dave and find out who did it. I drew what I wanted and faxed it to him, who had someone do it. How is that for confusion...... Drop shadow helps for the lettering and go as large as you pocket book will allow. Jim S/V Java

BOAT NAME

I ORDERED MINE FROM SAILNET.COM, I USED 4" LETTERS AND INSTALLED THEM MY SELF. TURNED OUT GREAT! I ACTUALLY INSTALLED THEM WHILE THE BOAT WAS IN THE WATER TOO.

Lettering

George; I removed the stock "Hunter 260" and logo from the side of the boat. The footprint of the new decal is 14.75" x 48". There are 2 sets of letters offset slightly to create a shadow effect. The font is Monotype Corsiva. The local FastSigns franchise did the layout and installation.

Any good sign company can make you a decal with shading and pictures. My lettering was done at Signs First in Gulfport. If the sign company you go to won't help you serach for a font and color scheme on their computer, then they are not the one to use.
