The biggest thing to remember, metal will rust. When in salt water or brackish water, try to rinse off the trailer with fresh water. You are the one taking care of your boat and trailer and with the work that you are doing to maintain it, I thank you sir. I will not say why I say that but it sure is good to see the Hunter water ballast boats being taken care of.

When I can, I'll use one of these.
But, no mater how hard you try, rust will always happen. I will say the trailer frame being hot dipped galvanized did not rust at all.
I was able to take the trailer on a road test yesterday. The brakes work, but the lines leak. I may not have tightened the fittings enough, being careful not to crack anything. I hope that's all it is, just more tightening.

It is good you are taking care of your boat and should you ever need any help, let me know. I do have a question for you. How do you catch a 20 lb stripper without using fishing tackle, boats, human contact, spears of any kind, any type of nets or explosives? I have done it but it was a rather way of doing that.
