Am about to launch my "new to me" H26 and have one last question...the shrouds that attach to the u-bolts should be crossed but which one is outboard and which one is inboard?

The ones coming from the highest point on the mast go to the forward position U bolt, so the ones coming from below the spreaders cross and attach to the rear U bolt. There is a manual for the 26 on line. Just check the archives. Attached is a link to tunning procedures for the h26 Great Boat. Hope this helps Chris

The consensus is they are meant to be crossed but the U bolts are so close together it does not matter much. I think you will find that they are aready set for one way or the other just make sure they do not bind one one another.
