H26 Positive Flotation and cored hull?

OK, I feel like this is a really silly question for me to need to ask, but I need help.

I have assumed that all trailerable boats had positive flotation and just bought an H26 assuming the same. However, I see almost no evidence of flotation. I realize the water ballast reduces the need for flotation but my water ballast Mac 26d still has foam in a number of locations. Reading the manual there is the suggestion that significant areas of the hull are cored (not just the normal deck).

So, does the H26 have positive flotation from either well-hidden foam or some extensive core material in more than just the deck?

The original brochure for my 260 indicates it has positive floatation.

In working on the boat I have seen some foam but not a lot compared to a Mac. I think they have it between the inner cabin liner and upper deck and parts of the cockpit coamings. Also there seems to be a sealed "box" at the bow just in front of the water tank.

The hull appears to be too thin for coring, and it is usually not done on boats under 30 ft as it is not worth it. The cockpit floor is cored with balsa about 1" thick.

Flotation

The bow ahead of the bulkhead under the v-berth is filled with foam, the stern behind and above the stern berth has lots of foam also.

Our Hunter 26 had foam in the cockpit coaming and the cabin sides. When I installed the padeyes for the spinnaker padeyes in the cockpit coaming, we had to maneuver through the foam to access the hardware.

Isn't there a picture of a 260 sitting on the bottom at a marina somewhere in this forum?
