Not so good, I forgot to pull the bulb this weekend, raining pretty heavy when we left, and the boat is about 2hrs away. That is why I asked for a direct replacement. Thanks Guys

Charisma, Understand the challenge. I live 250mi from the boat. While a H26 is a production boat and all used the same (or at the least similar) equipment, there is no telling what changes a previous owner may have made to enhance the boating experience. So telling you, My 2015 boat uses a "XX22XX" bulb may be of little help should your 1987 boat be using a "YY11YY"" design.

I hate to be a buzzkill but you are spinning the roulette wheel if you do not have information directly from the bulb you are replacing. I have been down this road before.

True words Steve. It is a road some of us have traveled. But it is a well traveled road and will be walked again by new adventurers.

OK attached is a pic of the original bulb and fixture, the bulb seems to just push in and I am still having trouble finding a LED replacement. On the original bulb it has "GE9121" printed on the glass. thanks Chris

@Charisma that label on the fixture calls out the replacement bulb type. I can't tell for sure but it looks like the last three digits are 912. It also indicates the maximum rating of the bulb is 12.8 Watts. Between that an dthe photo of the bulb I'd say that's an automotive type #912 bulb, just like this one:

A little more digging finds this as an LED replacement for the 912

These bulbs are quite common. Check out your local auto parts store and see what they have available. Often if you check their website first, they will tell you what the local store has in stock before you make the trip.

Check the "heat" output of the LED. Some put out enough heat to melt the plastic cover.
