I recently asked a question about difficulty with raising the centerboard. Others shared their concern too. I uploaded the running rigging schematic from the owner's manual. This is for the 23.5, but since there isn't one for the 26, I assume they are the same. As you can see, the up-haul has two blocks. The boat I use only has one, so this may be the reason for the difficulty. Just thought I would pass this along.

I think so. It's a 1994, so I assume the line was replaced at some point. The centerboard on the boat lets down "relatively" easy, but takes a lot of force to pull up. With only one block instead of two, I have essentially 50% less pull. BTW, looks like I need to get a H260 manual too. The one for the H26 is lacking to say the least...
