H26 Bimini Measurements

My H26 came with a combing mounted bimini. I want to modify it so that it will mount on the rail. According to my measurements the (top of rail) mounting location is 36" from the cockpit floor, 35" forward from the rear rail, the width between the rails is 99 inches.

I have a 6 ft bimini so I calculated that to have 72" height I should cut my rear bow to 49" and the front bow to 52". When they fold back they should be within 5 inches which should be close enough to allow the cover boot to fit. (I assume that the front bow hinge point will be 2" above the rear bow mounting point (on the rail).

These dimensions should place the bimini coverage from 33" behind the mounting point to 39" ahead of the mounting point.

Does anyone have a similar installation who could confirm my calculations by actual measurements before I start cutting?

Fred could not see a label on the bimini but since it came with a frame that had to be riveted made me suspect who the mfg. was suggesting to call them with a contact and phone number. I also saw some photos and referred him to that as well. There are no specific numbers here but there will be some guessing. I would suggest starting with longer legs on the main bows and cut them down a little at a time after determining where the rail attachments should go which is why I referenced a photo or two.

Does anyone know what the boom clearance is on a stock H26 (i.e. cockpit floor to underside of boom). By memory I assume that it is about 72" since I have never hit my head on the boom.

I dropped by the boat yesterday. I measured that the clearance from cockpit sole to the mast crutch ( currently supporting the mast) is 68 inches. This is unfortunate since if my Bimini is @ 72 inches I won't be able to leave the Bimini up, in folded position) while trailering.
