One thi,g I don't understand about the H26 is how the heck does anyone expect the standard bimini to block any sun while sailing? It is 7 ft high and only covers the back half of the cockpit.

Has anyone tried angling the top of the mainsheet farther forward and putting a 4th bow on the bimini?

Bigger Bimini

attached is a photo of our Bimini, showing how the bail? (attachment for the main sheet) has been moved forward on the boom, allowing for the bigger Bimini. As a note the main sheet is attached to a traveler, just in front of the companionway

For my H-26, I have the same relocation of the mainsheet tackle and a small traveler as Charisma. My bimini has 4 bows. I also raised the boom up a half-inch or so with the topping lift. Only minor sail performance sacrifice for much cooler sailing. BrianW

Hey Brian, when we ordered our new sails I had them cut up 2" and put the extra up top, hence the "fat Head". So far we love it. Food for thought
