We I don't even keep the cushions on this boat because it is too humid. Mold is a constant and recurring headache. I store at my house a mile above sea level. Agree its a slippery surface. That bulk head is out which the batteries were behind. I am replacing with just a middle section that will be teak. securing the tubs that the batteries sit in I suppose is possible in the bedding area but moving them into the head hanger locker seems better, I don't fish much if at all. I like that area for sail bags and life jackets which depends on who is with me or if I'm solo.

I just don't want the boat to list which I won't know until I put the boat in the water
